for the summer. They like to build their
nests in the fruit orchards, especially the
cherry and apple trees. Our neighbors keep
feeders out for them and they will have 30
hummers at a time.

I have painted this building many times. It is the old
La Luz Pottery. In the 1920's pottery was made here,
mainly red clay pots and roof tile for houses. It was
quite the cottage industry for awhile.
