This painting was commissioned for a book cover. The story is about a young couple in West Texas deciding about their future in farming or moving on to different lives.
Thanks Julie I'm waiting for a new crop of hollyhocks. I had struggled with the commission because the customer had wanted cowboys, dog, lady in the window and hollyhocks. I simplified the painting with hollyhocks and she loved it.
